Clinical Trial 19481

Orange, CA 92862

Summary:

Do you have Chronic Sciatic Pain?

A 14-week study is currently underway for individuals 18 or older who have chronic sciatic pain or Lumbosacral radiculopathy (LSR).

  • Has the duration of the onset of your pain been greater than or equal to 12 weeks?
  • Are your current medications not helping your pain?

If you answered “yes” to the above questions, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study which is testing the effectiveness of an investigational drug in reducing pain in subjects with sciatic pain.

Sciatic pain or LSR is a common part of acute and chronic low back pain, with pain sensation in one or both legs. LSR is caused by damage to the lower spine which causes compression of the nerve roots that exit the spine. The compression can lead to tingling, numbness, and occasional shooting pains.

Participants will receive: All study related medical procedures, physical examination, physician visits, laboratory tests and study medication at no charge. Compensation for time and travel may be available.

Participation Duration: You will receive study medication for 42 days and be seen by a Study Doctor 8 times over a 14-week period.
