Summary:

Previous heart attack or stroke? Cardiovascular disease? Diabetes? Raised blood sugar levels? People with these conditions have a higher risk of heart attack or stroke in the future. Because we know who is at greater risk, we want to take early steps to try to prevent a cardiovascular emergency.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 40 years of age
• Have cardiovascular disease (e.g., a previous heart attack or stroke or peripheral arterial disease)
• Have type 2 diabetes or raised blood sugar levels


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related medications and care would be provided at no cost to you.
