Summary:
The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between formal thought disorder (i.e., disorganized speech) and functional outcome (i.e., social and role functioning) in individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder.
Research procedures include interviews, neurocognitive testing, and an assessment of formal thought disorder using inkblots. Procedures take 2.5 – 4.5 hours total. Research participants are compensated for their time at a rate of $15 per hour.
A confidential phone screen will be conducted to determine initial eligibility.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder

Be between 18 and 65 years old
Qualified Participants May Receive:
$15 per hour for participation
