Summary:
This study is testing the benefits of an investigational drug in reducing lung and heart complications in people with COPD.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be between 40 and 80 years of age
•
Have been diagnosed with COPD/emphysema/chronic bronchitis
•
Have a history or be at risk of heart disease
• Be a former or current smoker
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study drug and study related medical care and procedures at no charge
as well as reimbursement for time and travel.
