Summary:
The purpose of this study, which is being conducted in 6 countries, is to evaluate an investigational vaccine for the prevention of meningitis type B. Currently there is no vaccine available on the market for this strain of the disease. Meningitis can make young people very sick, causing the brain and spinal cord to swell. This research study is for those ages 18 to 25 who are overall healthy and willing to undergo blood draws and have a series of 3 injections over 1 year. Compensation is available for time and travel if you qualify.
