Summary:
This is a 28 week outpatient study evaluating the safety and efficacy of an investigational pain medication for patients that require around-the-clock opioid medication to manage chronic low back pain.

Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years old
•
Currently be taking opioid medication daily for chronic low back pain
•
Be post-menopausal, surgically sterile, abstinent, or using effective birth control
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study medication and study related care as well as compensation may be available for time and travel
