Summary:

A 52-week study to evaluate the effect in subjects with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) treated with a fixed-dose combination of long-acting beta agonist and inhaled corticosteroid .


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 40 years of age
• Have a history of COPD, only subjects with chronic bronchitis will be included
• Have had at least two documented moderate or severe COPD exacerbations within 12 months
• Be a former smoker (defined as smoking cessation at least 1 year ago) or current smoker both with a smoking history of at least 20 pack-years
• Be able to perform repeatable pulmonary function testing


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study medication, study related medical care and may be compensated for time and travel
