Summary:
Do you have a history of a heart attack or a stroke? Would you like to participate in a research study? We are looking for participants for a research study to evaluate an investigational medication to see if it can reduce the risk of having cardiovascular events.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be between 40 and 85 years of age
•
Have had a heart attack or stroke within the past 5 years
•
Meet other criteria
Qualified Participants May Receive:
• Will be asked to attend approximately 25 study visits over 5 years
• Will receive statin therapy, investigational medication or placebo, lab work, and study required care
• Will be compensated $50 for each completed visit
