Summary:
Quitting smoking can be difficult because cigarettes are both physically and psychologically addicting. If you have been diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety or another psychiatric disorder, either currently or in the past, and are trying to stop smoking, FutureSearch Trials has a study that may be of interest to you.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be between 18 and 75 years of age
Have smoked an average of 10 cigarettes per day over the past year
Be motivated to quit smoking Have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disoder.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Volunteers who qualify for this study will receive an investigational study medication or placebo (an inactive substance) and study related medical care at no charge and may be reimbursed for expenses associated with study visits, such as travel for visits.
