Clinical Trial 22029

Edmond, OK 73013

Summary:

This clinical research study is testing an investigational medication for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). This research study is designed to compare the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication to Seroquel XR, or placebo (pills that look like the study drug but have no medicine in them), as an add-on therapy to an antidepressant in people who are still experiencing symptoms of depression. In other words, the investigational medication is taken with an already approved antidepressant in people with MDD.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18 and 65 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
• Have been experiencing symptoms of depression for at least the past 2 months
• Have been taking at least one antidepressant medication as prescribed but it is not helping enough
• Additional criteria will be assessed by the study doctor.

Qualified Participants May Receive:

All study-related medications, office visits and examinations will be provided to you at no cost. Your current antidepressant or one that the study doctor prescribes to you will also be provided at no cost while you are in the study. You will also receive monetary compensation for your time and travel at each study visit.
