Local doctors are looking for people with constipation caused by opioid pain medication to participate in a research study.
Prescription opioid medications that may cause constipation include: Vicodin, Duragesic, OxyContin, Percocet, as well as many others.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be between 18 and 80 years of age
Have constipation caused by opioid pain medication taken for chronic non-cancer pain
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study-related visits, test, and study drugs will be provided to participants at no cost. Reimbursement up to $450 for study-related travel will also be provided.
