Summary:

Midwest Research Group is conducting a research study for individuals 65 years of age and older who are currently experiencing depression and have not had an adequate response to their current antidepressant.

This study will be testing an investigational medication or placebo (inactive substance) in conjunction with an already approved antidepressant.

All participants will take an FDA approved antidepressant during the study.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 65 years of age or older
• Have had an inadequate response to an antidepressant during your current depressive episode
• Not be diagnosed with any other major psychiatric conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, etc.)
• Other criteria will apply


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related care from a psychiatrist, study medication and diagnostic testing as well as compensation for time and travel.
