Summary:
Heights Doctor's Clinic is conducting a research trial comparing the cardiovascular safety of two once daily insulins in subjects with type 2 diabetes at high risk of cardiovascular events.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 50 years of age
•
Have a history of cardiovascular events
•
Be on current stable medication for diabetes (oral OR injectable is ok)
•
Some subjects may qualify based on documented history of irregular labs or cardiac testing, if age 60 or greater
Qualified Participants May Receive:
All study-related medications, all study related visits and testing provided free of charge. Some subjects may receive help with the cost of their current diabetes medications. All subject will receive compensation for their time and travel.
