Summary:

If you or a loved one has emphysema, chronic bronchitis or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), you may be interested in this clinical research study. This study is testing the long term effects of an investigational drug in reducing lung and heart complications in people with COPD.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have a diagnosis of moderate COPD (sometimes called emphysema or chronic bronchitis)
• Have a history or risk of heart disease
• Are 40 to 80 years of age
• Are a former or current cigarette smoker


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study participants may receive study drug and study-related medical care at no charge. Reimbursement for time and travel may be provided.
