Summary:

We are currently seeking study volunteers to participate in a clinical trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an Investigational medication to treat patients with moderate to severe COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). The study consists of 11 visits over a 6 month time frame.

For your time and inconvenience related to your participation in this study, you will be paid for the study visits you complete according to the following schedule: $86 for each study visit. In addition, you will be paid $114.00 for each of the 12-Hour Spirometry sub-study visits and $150.00 for each of the 24-hour holter sub-study visits. Most visits will take approx. 4 hours. You will be paid after each visit. There are a total of 11 visits.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 40 and no older than 80 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with COPD
• Be a current or former smokeer with a history of at least 10 pack-years of cigeratte smoking
