Summary:
Do you suffer from heartburn?
Ironwood Pharmaceuticals is conducting a research study for patients with heartburn who are still experiencing symptoms while on Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs).
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be over 18 years of age
•
Be taking a PPI once a day for at least 8 weeks
•
Be experiencing persistent heartburn and regurgitation
•
Be willing to remain on current PPI throughout study
•
Be able to use a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and complete a daily electronic diary
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Physical examinations
, laboratory tests
and study medication or placebo
