Summary:
We’re looking for people who have Type 2 Diabetes for a research study in Arlington.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have been diagnosed with T2DM
•
Be taking a stable dose of metformin monotherapy
•
Have HbA1c levels of between ≥ 7.0% and ≤ 10.0%
•
If Female of childbearing potential, not be pregnant and agree to use a reliable method of birth control
•
Provide written informed consent
•
Not be pregnant or nursing (lactating) women
Not have a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes mellitus
•
Not have uncontrolled diabetes defined as a FPG level of > 240 mg/dL at screening
•
Not have a significant change in body weight in the 3 months before screening
•
Not have any history of GI intolerance
•
Not have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) or a genetic condition that predisposes to MTC
•
Not have a known history of acute or chronic pancreatitis
•
Not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse or drug addiction
