Summary:
We are conducting a clinical research study for Type 2 diabetics. A total of 10 study visits over the period of 52 weeks.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be over 18 years of age
•
Be on EITHER
• (1) Metformin and Sitagliptin
• (2) Metformin and Vildagliptin
• (3) Metformin and Saxagliptin
• (4) Metformin and Linagliptin
• (5) Metformin and Alogliptin
OR Taking
•
Metformin + any antidiabetic medications in Sulfonylyrea class:
• Carbutamide
• Chlorpropamide
• Tolbutamide
• Tolazamide
• Glipizide
• Gliclazide
• Glibenclamide (Glyburide)
• Glibornuride
• Gliquidone
• Glisoxepide
• Glyclopyramide
• Glimepiride
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication, study related physical exams, laboratories, ekg’s (at no cost), and compensations for time and travel.
