Summary:

Psychiatric Care and Research Center is conducting a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of a new antidepressant in patients with severe Major Depression. Depression is an illness that affects many with low moods, low energy, feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness, problems sleeping and concentrating. It can affect both professional and personal lives.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18 and 70 years of age
• Have an episode of depression currently being treated with either an SSRI or SNRI without good response
• Have severe symptoms including recent suicidal ideation


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for time and travel may be possible.
