Clinical Trial 25704

Miami, FL 33125

Summary:

Be interviewed about your gastroparesis symptoms

The Gastroparesis Research Study is seeking patients to be interviewed about their gastroparesis symptoms. The interviews are being conducted to learn more about the symptoms of gastroparesis, also known as delayed stomach emptying.

If you are experiencing nausea, bloating, upper abdominal pain, vomiting, and/or immediate fullness at the beginning of meals, you may qualify for the Gastroparesis Research Study.

You might be eligible to participate in this research study if you:

  • Have been experiencing the above symptoms for at least 3 months
  • Are between the ages of 18 and 85

Participants may be compensated for their time and travel.

At no cost, study participants will receive diagnostic testing for gastroparesis and will be asked to attend one or two interview sessions where they will talk about their gastroparesis symptoms.

No medication or treatments will be provided as part of the study.

Gastroparesis is most strongly associated with nausea, bloating, abdominal discomfort, vomiting and a feeling of fullness at the beginning of meals.
