Clinical Trial 26474

Indianapolis, IN 46260

Summary:

Do you have lupus? Do you currently have symptoms?

If the answer to both questions is "yes", you may be eligible to take part in a new clinical research study.

The ADDRESS II Study is looking at the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication for lupus, which will be given as a weekly injection under the skin and can be taken at home.

The aim of the study is to see if the investigational medication is safe and effective for people with lupus.

You may be eligible to take part in the ADDRESS II Study if you:

  • are 18 years of age or older
  • have had lupus {systemic lupus erythematosus; SLE) for 6 months or more
  • have active lupus at the time you join the study

The study will last for about 1 year and will include about 15 visits to the study center. At each visit, the study team will check your symptoms and health.

At the end of the ADDRESS II Study treatment period you may be given the option of participating in an extension of the study that would mean continuing to receive the investigational medication for a further period of time.

Study medications, exams, and medical care related to the study will be provided at no cost to you, and you will be reimbursed for certain expenses, such as traveling and parking.

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans.
