Summary:
We are currently recruiting people for a type 2 diabetes study. The study is about 8 months long and has 8 office visits and 8 telephone visits.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years old
•
Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
•
Be taking metformin alone or in combination with a SU medication (glyburide, glipizide, glimepiride)
•
Not have taken insulin in the past
•
Be willing to inject with study medication
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication, labs, ECG and physical exam and glucose testing supplies at no cost.
Compensation for time and travel of $75.00 per completed visit may also be available.
