Summary:
Meridien Research is evaluating the
safety and effectiveness of an investigational flu medication called favipiravir.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be between 18 and 80 years of age
•
Have a fever of at least 100.4˚F (if over 65 years of age, at least 100.0˚F)
•
Have 2 or more of the following symptoms:
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Nasal congestion
- Body aches and pains
- Fatigue
Qualified Participants May Receive:
People who participate in the study will receive the study drug for five days and will visit the study clinic each day during dosing, as well as two times after dosing ends.
Study-related care is provided at no cost and payment for your time and travel will provided.
