Summary:
A National, Randomized, 12-Week, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Assess the Safety and Efficacy of Plecanatide (3.0 and 6.0 mg) in Patients With Chronic Idiopathic Constipation.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be between 18 and 80 years of age
•
Have chronic idiopathic constipation for at least 3 months with symptom onset for at least 6 months
•
Have completed a colonoscopy(within past 5 years), with no clinically significant findings
•
More inclusion/exclusion criteria apply
