Summary:
We are looking for patients to participate in a type 2 diabetes study for patients who have been diagnosed with diabetes, are taking basal insulin (lantus, levemir, NPH, or insulin degludec) alone or in combination with Metformin. Study will consist of 8 office visits and 8 telephone visits
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes
Have been taking basal insulin for at least 3 months
•
Can be taking the insulin alone or with metformin (no other diabetes medications allowed)
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study related medication (as add on to current medications), ECG, labs, and be seen by qualified staff all at no cost to you, glucose testing supplies, and compensation up to $675.00 for time/travel.
