Summary:

Allergy and Asthma Associates Santa Clara Valley Research Center is conducting a research study to demonstrate that Symbicort is more effective than formoterol for prevention of COPD exacerbations. You are being asked to take part in this study because you have the diagnosis of COPD.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Have a diagnosis of COPD for 1 at least a year
• Be 40 years of age or older
• Have smoked or are currently smoking
• Have at least 1 Dr's visit for COPD in the past year
• Have no history of asthma


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for time and travel and potential study medication.
