Summary:
Meridien Research is conducting a 14-day research study to determine the effectiveness of an investigational flu medication. If you are between 18 and 64 years of age and have acute influenza or flu, you may be eligible.
No medical insurance is necessary.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be between 18 and 64 years of age
•
Have acute influenza or flu
•
Have an oral temperature of at least 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit
•
Have least one symptom from each category:
Respiratory symptoms: cough, sore throat or nasal stuffiness
Systemic symptoms: headache, muscle or joint pain, chills or fatigue
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related evaluations, physical exams, routine lab work, investigational medication or placebo, and compensation for time and travel may be available to those who qualify.
