Summary:
Meridien Research is conducting a 52-week clinical trial to determine the effectiveness of an investigational medication compared with placebo in reducing lipid levels in people at high or very high risk of major cardiovascular events who are on a lipid lowering treatment but still have high lipid levels. If you are 18 years of age or older, you may be eligible.
No medical insurance is necessary.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at high risk of major cardiovascular events

Have high lipid levels
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related evaluations, physical exams, routine lab work, investigational medication, and compensation of up to $600 for time and travel may be available to those who qualify.
