Summary:
Clinical Research Professionals is conducting a phase 3, 52 week study for a combination of up to three already approved medications for COPD. The study drug will be in different combinations given through a mouth inhaler.
The purpose of the study is to see if these combinations of drugs decrease or prevent COPD flare ups.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be at least 40 years of age
Have been diagnosed with COPD
Be on a stable dose of COPD medications for at least 3 months
If female, be surgically sterile or post-menopausal for at least one year
Be a smoker or have a history of smoking
Not currently have asthma but can have a history of asthma
Have had at least one episode of severe COPD in the past 12 months
Not have any major disorders such as HIV, lupus, Parkinson's disease, tuberculosis, lung cancer, or pulmonary hypertension
Not be on over 3L (liters) of oxygen
Not have cancer in the past five years (skin cancer is ok)
Not have had issues with drug or alcohol abuse in the past 2 years
