Summary:

Clinical Research Professionals is conducting a phase 3, 52 week study for a combination of up to three already approved medications for COPD. The study drug will be in different combinations given through a mouth inhaler. The purpose of the study is to see if these combinations of drugs decrease or prevent COPD flare ups.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 40 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with COPD
• Be on a stable dose of COPD medications for at least 3 months
• If female, be surgically sterile or post-menopausal for at least one year
• Be a smoker or have a history of smoking
• Not currently have asthma but can have a history of asthma
• Have had at least one episode of severe COPD in the past 12 months
• Not have any major disorders such as HIV, lupus, Parkinson's disease, tuberculosis, lung cancer, or pulmonary hypertension
• Not be on over 3L (liters) of oxygen
• Not have cancer in the past five years (skin cancer is ok)
• Not have had issues with drug or alcohol abuse in the past 2 years
