Summary:
Have you been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and high blood pressure?
Local doctors are conducting a clinical research study evaluating a medication for African American adults with Type 2 Diabetes.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
•
Be on a diet and exercise regimen and be drug naïve or pre-treated with a stable dose of metformin
•
Be treated with stable doses of 3 or fewer antihypertensive medications for at least 4 weeks
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study medication and study related care at no cost.
