Clinical Trial 31258

Belton, MO 64012

Summary:

Have you been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis?

Are you still having symptoms while receiving treatment?

If so, you may be able to take part in the True North Study.

The True North Study is a clinical research study assessing an investigational medication (a potential new medication that is under development) for the treatment of people with ulcerative colitis.

You may be able to take part in this study if you:

  • are 18 to 75 years of age (inclusive)
  • have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis (your doctor can tell you this if you are unsure)
  • are currently experiencing symptoms of ulcerative colitis
  • are currently receiving at least one anti-inflammatory drug or corticosteroid treatment for your disease

If you are able to take part and you decide to join the study, you will need to visit the study center regularly to have your health checked by the study team. Your participation in the study will last for around 1 year and will include approximately 10 visits to the study center. You will receive a patient stipend for time and travel.

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans. These studies are conducted worldwide for a range of conditions and illnesses. Learn more about clinical research and participating in a study at About Clinical Trials.
