Summary:
DS 5565 will be better than placebo (sugar pill without active drug) in managing fibromyalgia pain and will be well tolerated.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Be able to complete subject-reported questionnaires per the investigator's judgment
•
Have had widespread pain present for at least 3 months and pain in at least 11 of 18 specific tender point sites
•
Have symptoms that have been present at a similar level for at least 3 months
•
Not have a disorder that would otherwise explain the pain
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study-related medical care and study medication at no cost and may be compensated for time and travel.
