Summary:
Dr. Robert Spencer, a board certified rheumatologist is conducting an observational study which examines patients' hands, wrists, knees, ankles and feet using a new imaging technique that can measure uric acid deposits in these areas.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Have gout
•
Be taking at least 300 mg of allopurinol daily for 12 weeks
•
Be between 18 and 85 years of age
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Study exams, lab work and compensation for travel.
