Summary:

A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study of subcutaneous MOA-728 for the treatment of Opiod-Induced Constipation in subjects with chronic non-malignant pain.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be able to sign informed consent
• Have a history of chronic pain with documentation within the last 2 months
• Stable medical status
• Have a history of constipation due to opiod use for at lease 1 month prior to visit
• Willing to discontinue pre-study laxative therapy and use only the study-permitted rescue laxative.


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for time and travel, study related care, and study related medication for the indication under study.
