Summary:

*DUPLICATE* The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of low-dose testosterone for women struggling with depression and for whom antidepressant medications have not been adequately effective.The trial is an 8-week study in which participants are randomly assigned to receive a low-dose testosterone cream or placebo (an inactive study medication). Study visits occur every two weeks, at which questionnaires are completed and participants meet with a clinician to discuss depression symptoms. Qualified Participants Must:

• *DUPLICATE* Be 21-75 years old
• Be taking an antidepressant
• Be female
