Ardelyx* is conducting a clinical research study to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of tenapanor for constipation predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS-C).

The investigational medication we are studying is in the form of a pill taken by mouth twice daily. This medication is being tested for its ability to increase the number of bowel movements and reduce abdominal pain related to constipation predominant IBS.

You may be able to participate in the study if you:

  • Are age 18 to 75 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C)
  • Experienced abdominal pain or discomfort for at least 3 days per month in the last 3 months

Reimbursement of study-related travel expenses may be available to those who qualify.
