Summary:
Do you have type 2 diabetes and kidney disease?
One common complication for people with type 2 diabetes is diabetic nephropathy, also known as diabetic kidney disease. Your kidneys can become damaged when your blood sugar gets too high and the filters in your kidneys have to work too hard. More treatment options are needed to treat this disease.
