The Encore-NF clinical research study is looking for adults with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Doctors are studying an investigational medication named emricasan to see if it may be an effective treatment for this condition. Those who volunteer and qualify for this research study will receive all study-related medication and care at no cost.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be at least 18 years of age

Have liver fibrosis due to NASH (not due to other common causes like alcoholic liver disease or hepatitis C or B)
