Summary:

Wake Research Associates is enrolling volunteers in a study of the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug for hypercholesterolemia and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (or fatty liver disease, also called NASH).


Qualified Participants Must:

• To qualify, volunteers should be age 18-75, have hypercholesterolemia and NASH, and any three of the following five conditions:
• Type II diabetes
• High triglycerides
• High blood pressure
• Waist of 40 inches or more (for men), or 35 inches or more (for women)
• Low HDL


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study-related drug at no-cost, Study-related medical care at no-cost and Reimbursement up to $750 for time and travel
