Concerned about high blood cholesterol and fatty liver disease?
Wake Research Associates is enrolling volunteers in a study of the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug for hypercholesterolemia and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be between 18 and 75 years of age, have hypercholesterolemia and NAFLD, and any of the following conditions:
- High triglycerides or receiving medication for elevated triglycerides
High blood pressure or receiving medication for hypertension
- Waist over 40 inches for men, or over 35 inches for women
- Low HDL
- Other qualifications may apply.
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Qualified participants will receive:
- Study-related drug at no-cost
- Study-related medical care at no-cost
- Reimbursement up to $900 for time and travel
Health Insurance is not required to participate in this study.
