Clinical Trial 35736

Lawrence Township, NJ 08648

Summary:

Looking for an alternative to cystectomy? We’re looking for you.

What is the VISTA study?

The VISTA study is a clinical research study for Viventia Bio’s investigational drug, Vicinium™, being developed for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. This study is designed to learn whether Vicinium™ is safe and effective for patients with bladder cancer that has not yet spread to the bladder muscle and who have previously received BCG treatment.

More than 100 patients with this type of bladder cancer have been treated with Vicinium™ in a prior Phase 1 and Phase II study.

What is the investigational medication?

Vicinium™ is a targeted therapy intended to attack bladder cancer cells while avoiding healthy bladder cells. Previous clinical studies have shown Vicinium™ to be well-tolerated.

Who can participate in the VISTA study?

About 135 eligible patients will participate in the VISTA study.

You may be able to join the study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have non-muscle invasive bladder cancer that progressed or returned

There are other criteria you must meet to participate in the VISTA study. The study doctor and study staff can explain these criteria to you in greater detail.

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans. These studies are conducted worldwide for a range of conditions and illnesses. Learn more about clinical research and participating in a study at About Clinical Trials.
