Summary:
The study is being done to find out if an investigational drug is safe and if it works for children and adolescents with MDD. The study will last for about 10 weeks and there will be about 9 study visits.
If your child is 7 to 11 years old and has been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD) or has been having feelings of depression for at least the past 6 weeks, he or she may be eligible to join the STEADi (Study To Evaluate an Adolescent Depression Investigational drug) clinical research study.
