Kites, an ADVANCE study, is an international clinical research study that will evaluate the safety and effectivesness of an investigatioal medical product for depression in children and young people between the ages of 7 and 17.

Interventional, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, active reference (fluoxetine,fixed-dose study of fixed-dose study of vortioxetine in pediatric patients aged 7 to 17 years, with Major depressive disorder (MDD)


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 7 and 17 years of age
• Be diagnosed with Major Depressive DISORDER (MDD)
• Be currently receiving treatment for MDD as an outpatient by a clinician
• Avialble to take part in the study for up to 16 weeks


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study visits, these include, amoung others:

* General health checks

 * Self- assments questionnairs- your child writes about how the are feeling durning study

 * Depression symptom- assessments-conducted by the study medical doctor

 * Study related professional care, possibble investigational medicine

 * Payment for time and travel
