Summary:
Are you 18 and older, taking a stable narotics for non-malignant pain (example:morphine, lortab, norco, oxycontin), and having less than 3 bowel movements a week? We may be able to help. Patients will be able to try medications that are on the market and see which one they like best
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
•
Be taking a stable dose of pain medication for non-malignant pain for at least 2 months
•
Be having less than 3 bowel movements in a week with either straining, hard stool, or feeling like you can't get everything out
•
Have had blood work done within 1 month
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Two FDA approved medications for constipation
$250 for travel
