Summary:

A study testing an investigational drug for bacterial vaginosis is currently recruiting potential participants. The investigational medication is a generic version of a vaginal gel that has already been approved by the FDA to treat bacterial vaginosis.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be a healthy woman 18 years of age or older
• Have symptoms of bacterial vaginosis including:

  • Abnormal thin white or gray vaginal discharge
  • Pain, itching, or burning in the vagina
  • Vaginal odor


Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • Study drug: you will be randomly assigned to investigational medicine, active approved medication, or placebo
  • Study related medical exams at no cost
  • Compensation for your time and travel
