The purpose of this study is to determine if brain stimulation during sleep with a weak electrical current will result in more refreshing sleep and better alertness while awake. The study involves a 2 hour screening visit, 7 days of at-home sleep/wake activity monitoring, 3 overnights followed by 5 continuous days and 4 nights in the lab.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 18 and 39 years of age
• Have no history of sleeping problems
• Test negative for alcohol, nicotine, and drugs
• Not take prescription medications, with the exception of birth control.
