Summary:
This is a study to determine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug or placebo for the treatment of hot flashes.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 45 years of age or older
•
Be generally healthy
•
6 months without menstrual period
•
Consider hot flashes to be bothersome
•
Not be on medication for depression
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Subjects will receive the following at no cost physical exam, laboratory tests, and EKG. Subject may be reimbursed for time and travel.
