Clinical Trial 37758

Albuquerque, NM 87109

Summary:

We are currently looking for participants who are taking a medication for depression but still having moderate to severe depression symptoms.  During the study you would continue taking your current anti-depressant medication and the study medication would be added on to see if it works more quickly or is more effective than standard medications for depression.

The study involves a screening visit, similar to an annual check-up, followed by a 3 week treatment period.  During the treatment period you would come in for 3 visits each week, and each visit lasts about two hours.  Following the treatment period there is a optional continuation study with weekly visits.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be taking a medication for depression for at least the last 2 months
• Current depression medication is only partially effective
• Be between the ages of 18 and 65

Qualified Participants May Receive:

Study medication and study related care at no charge. Travel assistance may be available.
