Clinical Trial 38022

NATIONWIDE

Summary:

Study for Pediatric ADHD

Learning that your 4 or 5 year old child has attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is challenging. It may leave you wondering what options are available for your child and whether they will be safe for your child at such a young age.

New clinical research studies will evaluate whether an investigational drug is safe and effective in children ages 4 and 5.

What is the purpose of the clinical research studies?

The studies will evaluate whether the study investigational drug is safe and effective in children with ADHD who are 4 and 5 years old. Different doses of the investigational drug will also be evaluated.

Who can participate?

With your permission as a parent or legal guardian, your child may qualify for a study if he or she is 4 or 5 years old and has ADHD symptoms such as increased levels of hyperactivity, inattentiveness, or impulsiveness.

There are other requirements for participation in a study that the study doctor and staff will explain to you in detail during the informed consent process.

Clinical trials are medical research studies designed to test the safety and/or effectiveness of new investigational drugs, devices, or treatments in humans. These studies are conducted worldwide for a range of conditions and illnesses. Learn more about clinical research and participating in a study at About Clinical Trials.
