Summary:
Local doctors are now conducting a medical research study evaluating an investigational pediatric asthma medication that is designed to reduce the total dose of drug and reduce the total administration time as compared to existing therapy.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be 1–8 years of age
Be diagnosed with asthma (to be confirmed at the doctor’s office)
Be willing to be available for the entire study duration, which is approximately six visits over a 12-week period
Qualified Participants May Receive:
Upon completion, eligible patients will be offered the opportunity to participate in a safety extension study, which will last an additional 40 weeks. Qualified participants will receive study-related medical evaluations and investigational medication at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel will also be provided.
